How to join zoom meeting without registration – none:
This name is simply to identify you in the meeting and is not connected to your University username. You will then be prompted how you wish to join your audio. If you are unable to join from Zoom on a computer or mobile device, then you can join on the telephone instead. You can find more details on these here.
If you use this option, then join the meeting using your computer first, and then select the Join By Phone tab when the audio pop-up window appears see example below. Simply enter this number followed by and your video and audio will then be synchronised. A window listing the other participants will appear. While your hand is raised, the icon should have an outline as below.
Alternative host The Alternative Host option allows you to schedule meetings and designate another Conservatoire Licensed user to start the meeting, if the Host who schedules is not able to start the meeting. If the Host who scheduled the meeting joins it, they will then become the Host, not the person assigned as the Alternative Host. This would usually be used for occasional changes of Host. Make them co-hosts in the meeting itself.
Therefore, you will not be able to start another concurrent meeting, since Zoom allows each account to start only one meeting at a time. Not an external or Basic account. This is the preferred option if you are frequently setting up Zoom meetings on behalf of someone else. You can mute all participants that are already in the meeting as well as new participants joining the meeting, and restrict them from unmuting their audio.
By default, participants can send Chat messages privately with anyone and with everyone in the meeting. There are two ways to prevent participants from using the Chat feature in the meeting.
You can remove unwanted participants from your Zoom meeting. Note: it is possible for unwanted people to return unless you lock the meeting. These names are displayed in the participant panel and on the video thumbnails. By default, participants can opt to change their name in the Zoom meeting, and the host can choose to rename participants too.
