The system always chooses for me, the default of the monitor, so if its a then thats what it is, cant be changed to anything, the resolution menu is grayed out. Took me a very long time. That should tell you how awful windows 10 is designed. Apparently i had to click the actual monitor from the display settings in order to change any settings. Poor design as i never had to do such silly extra steps with the previous windows.
